Commercial Block brings unparalleled experience to the ICF industry .Our installation crews, tech support, sales staff and managers have been involved in some of the largest ICF projects in the country .Our largest ICF job to date is a building that is over 130,000 square foot. This building has 41 and 51-foot tall walls. Taller than any other ICF, with out the use of intermediate floors. Our research and development team has designed our own bracing system that allows us to build tall walls with out the need for intermediate floors to brace off of. Commercial Block creates a solid monolithic concrete wall that has a 4-hour fire rating. Incorporated into our foam block is a 25 gauge metal stud (not plastic) located on 8-inch centers. This should keep the drywall on the wall longer in case of a fire. Our metal stud was designed with the help of a Licensed Structural Engineering team. The center of the stud is open to allow concrete to flow through it and has six built in rebar chairs three on the top and three on the bottom.
